Zak in Room 1 had bought in some photographs of a relative who fought in World War One to show his class, and he kindly let us look at these to help us draw the uniforms.
We talked about how these soldiers might feel about going to war - anxious, frightened, proud, excited - and tried to capture these emotions in our paintings.
